Voters at Town Meeting Saturday approved a new zoning bylaw that would restrict medical marijuana facilities to a few locations in town. The proposal received overwhelming support, passing 237-55. The annual town election is just around the corner

Duxbury’s Annual Town Election will be held Saturday, March 23 at the Lt. Timothy Steele Athletic Building, 130 Saint George St. The polls will be open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

Absentee ballots for the town election

People unable to vote at the polls for the town election on March 23 should stop by the office and fill out an absentee ballot application. An absentee ballot will be mailed out as soon as they are available.

2019 Duxbury Beach dog-walking permits are now available at Town Hall

Duxbury Beach dog-walking permits are required to take a dog on the beach between the months of April and September. A dog must first be licensed with the Town in order to obtain a permit.
