Reader’s View: Say yes to increasing Community Preservation surcharge increase

 

The 2020 campaign to return the Community Preservation Act surcharge to the original 3 percent halted, but work never stopped.  Simmons Farm was acquired for historic preservation, housing and conservation.  Pickleball courts and ballfield dugouts were constructed, and the Pink Farm purchased.
