Pilgrim Church helps feed shelter residents

Duxbury residents respond to immigrants’ needs


The Rev. Bill Ferguson, pastor of Pilgrim Church of Duxbury, has had first-hand experience with the plight of the immigrants and others placed in hotels in Kingston and Plymouth.

And, he’s witnessed how churches, community groups and individuals have rallied to feed and clothe the homeless group.

“These are people who were hungry,” he said. “They don’t have anything.”
