Home values raise the roof

Property values have doubled over the past 10 years

Home values in Duxbury rose more than 20 percent over the past year, meaning many residents can expect to see an increase in their property tax bills next year.

On Monday, the Select board held its annual property tax classification hearing at which Director of Assessing Stephen Dunn gave his yearly explanation of real estate values in Duxbury.
