Alden House hopes to expand

The Alden Kindred have big plans and they need a little money to make them a reality.

The descendants of John and Priscilla Alden plan on expanding the barn at the historic site and adding more exhibits. The price tag? $2.3 million.

The goal, Board Member Mark Jacobson said, is to create the largest living history center in the region, outside of the Plimoth-Patuxet Museums.  The barn would double in size, housing not only new interactive exhibits, but also serving as another meeting place...
