Duxbury readers took a trip back in time at the Duxbury Free Library last week, as they learned about the abolitionist movement in Duxbury.
The evening started with a dramatic reading of the first two chapters of Sue Monk Kidd's novel, "The Invention of Wings," a story of three young girls trapped in a world of injustice, and their fight to bring about righteousness.
