Preparing for college. 11 a.m. Duxbury High School. Library and is open to families with sophomores and juniors in high school at Duxbury High School Library. Seating is limited to the first 50 participants who sign up. Learn what goes into a student application for college admission and how college committees make a decision to admit, delay or deny an application. Tickets are $20. Airmen of Note. 7 p.m. The United States Air Force jazz band, Airmen of Note, will be coming to Duxbury as part of its national tour The band will perform at the Performing Arts Center, 73 Alden St. Tickets to the U.S. Air Force concert are now available. The concert is free and tickets are required.
