Bookmarks Teen Discussion Group. 3-5 p.m. DFL, Young Adult area. Especially for eighth through 12th-graders, talk about philosophy and current events.

Valentine’s Day at the Alden House Historic Site. 2-4 p.m. Consumer historian Jan Whitaker will speak of culture in the 1920s and the rise of tea rooms along with the automobile, Prohibition and the women’s suffrage movement. The program will include refreshments. Reservations recommended; limited space. In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 16. Admission $10; $8 for members.
