Saturday, Oct. 14

Test drive a new Ford. Support DHS student council Oct. 14. Test drives will take place at Duxbury High School, 71 Alden St. Age 18 or over with a valid driver’s license. Proceeds aid DHS and honors breast cancer awareness month. Drive4URSchool.

Following Duxbury’s Pilgrim Trail with Historian Tony Kelso. 3 p.m., one-hour guided walk. Meet at Alden House, family homestead of Mayflower Pilgrims John and Priscilla Alden since 1627. Learn about the Duxburrough Trail and shoreland homesteads, archaeology, social culture of the 17th century.

Make a plan for a healthier you via stress relief and immune boosting steps. 10:30 a.m. One-hour class meets in Duxbury Free Library’s Merry Room, led by Nancy Denman. Sign up required, either online or call 781-934-2721, ext. 5632.
