Voters reject rezone of Battelle property
Over 570 people attend Saturday Town Meeting
On Saturday, Duxbury voters soundly rejected a proposal to rezone waterfront property owned by Battelle for a residential development. On Article 14, the vote was 148 in favor to 440 opposed. The vote came at the end of the Saturday session of the annual Town Meeting, held at the Performing Arts Center on Saint George Street.
