Moving to ban plastic bags
Town Meeting to consider proposal next month
Duxbury selectmen are supportive of a proposal to ban single-use plastic shopping bags in town. The board voted unanimously in favor of Article 42, a citizen’s petition that offers a town bylaw that will prohibit the distribution by stores of thin, plastic shopping bags with handles.
