TOWN OF DUXBURY CONSERVATION COMMISSION

PUBLIC MEETING

The Duxbury Conservation Commission will hold a Public Meeting in the Mural Meeting Room, Lower Level, Town Hall, under the Town of Duxbury Wetlands Bylaw, Chapter 9 and Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, MGL, Ch. 131, Section 40, on Tuesday evening, June 19, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. on the request of Duxbury Construction LLC to determine the applicability of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Town of Duxbury Wetlands Bylaw relative to a project described in a Request for Determination of Applicability filed with the Conservation Commission on May 30, 2018. Said project is to repair a seawall and is located at 184 Marshall Street, Lot 122-096-020 of the Duxbury Assessors Map.

The Duxbury Conservation Commission will hold a Public Meeting in the Mural Meeting Room, Lower Level, Town Hall, under the Town of Duxbury Wetlands Bylaw, Chapter 9 and Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, MGL, Ch. 131, Section 40, on Tuesday evening, June 19, 2018 at 7:25 p.m. on the request of Eversource Energy to determine the applicability of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Town of Duxbury Wetlands Bylaw relative to a project described in a Request for Determination of Applicability filed with the Conservation Commission on June 5, 2018. Said project is to install underground conduit and is located at 249 Lincoln Street, Lot 055-301-234 of the Duxbury Assessors Map.

PUBLIC HEARING

The Duxbury Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing in the Mural Meeting Room, Lower Level, Town Hall, under the Town of Duxbury Wetlands Bylaw, Chapter 9 and Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, MGL, Ch. 131, Section 40, on Tuesday evening, June 19, 2018 at 7:20 p.m. on the request of Timothy Kyes to relocate a driveway within the Buffer Zone to a Bordering Vegetated Wetland as described in a Notice of Intent filed with the Conservation Commission on May 30, 2018. Said project is located at 27 Temple Street, Lot #070-938-008 of the Duxbury Assessor’s Map.

PUBLIC HEARING DUXBURY BOARD OF SELECTMEN LIQUOR LICENSE

The Duxbury Board of Selectmen, acting as the Local Licensing Authority, will hold a Public Hearing in the Mural Room of Duxbury Town Hall (878 Tremont Street), on Monday evening, June 25, 2018 at 7:05 P.M., to consider an application for an Alteration of Licensed Premises, to allow a Seasonal Wine and Malt Alcoholic Beverages only in roped off patio/tent section, containing six tables and thirty-six seats for Duxbury Beach Reservation Inc. d/b/a Duxbury Beach Park 2, Dana Battista, Manager. Location of Premises: 435 Gurnet Road. Any person interested or wishing to comment on the application should appear at the time and place noted above.

TOWN OF DUXBURY BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Mural Room at Town Hall, 878 Tremont Street, on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the application of John McLaughlin for a Special Permit under Article(s) 400 and 900, Section(s) 404.6, 404.7, 404.8, 404.9, 404.20 and 906.2 of the Duxbury Protective Bylaw. The property is located at 685 Washington Street, Parcel No. 117-147-000 of the Duxbury Assessors Map, consisting of 3.79 acres in the Residential Compatibility & Wetlands Protection Overlay Districts and owned by John G. and Doreen K. McLaughlin. The Applicantproposestoconstruct a new pier. A Special Permit is required. The application may be viewed in the Municipal Services Department between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., or by appointment. TOWN OF DUXBURY INVITATION FOR BID

The Town of Duxbury acting by and through its Town Manager seeking sealed bids for the Repairs to Bluefish River Bridge.

Submittals should be addressed to Town of Duxbury, Attn: Scott J. Lambiase, 878 Tremont St., Duxbury, MA 02332 and must be marked in conspicuous large bold faced lettering with “Repairs to Bluefish River Bridge” no later than 10:00 a.m. on June 27, 2018.

The Invitation For Bid may be obtained by email request to woods@town.duxbury. ma.us during regular business hours on or after 8:00 a.m. on May 30, 2018. Hard copies of the IFB may be obtained at the offices of Amory Engineers, P.C., 25 Depot Street, Duxbury, MA Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All Submitters are to execute the Non-Collusion/ Fraud Certification and also the Tax Certification Attestation which are part of the IFB Documents. Failure to submit these completed forms will not allow the Town of Duxbury to consider your proposal.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals either in whole or in part or to waive any irregularities or defects in any proposal should it be in the best interest of the Town of Duxbury.

The balance of the purchase price shall be paid within thirty (30) days from the sale date in the form of a certified check, bank treasurer’s check or other check satisfactory to Mortgagee’s attorney. Public Hearing Fee Schedules Board of Selectmen

The Duxbury Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 7:01PM in the Mural Room, Lower Level of Duxbury Town Hall, located at 878 Tremont Street, Duxbury, MA, 02332, to consider new fees and/or fee changes for the following departments: Recreation Department (Pool) and Council on Aging. All residents and interested parties will be permitted to make comments or present recommendations for consideration. A copy of all proposed fee schedule changes and proposed fees has been filed with the Town Clerk and a copy has been placed on file at the Duxbury Free Library.
